MOORHEAD, Minn. (KVRR) — A deadly and terrifying night of violence in Moorhead is all caught on police body-worn cameras and that footage is now being made public.
Four, two-hour long clips from cameras worn by Moorhead Police officers show their response to the events on August 11.
They have very graphic content and language.
Police had responded to a domestic assault call at an apartment in the 2400 block of Third Avenue North just after 8:45 that evening called in by a woman with two young kids.
Moorhead officers were the first to respond and were shot at as they tried to enter the apartment.
Exactly one hour later, Red River Valley SWAT entered the apartment and rescued two young kids and shot two men holed up inside.
