HAMILTON COUNTY, Tenn. — The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation announced Tuesday the arrest of 14 people involved in a human trafficking ring in Hamilton County.

On Aug. 19, the TBI Human Trafficking unit conducted an undercover joint operation with several agencies, aimed at addressing human trafficking in the Cleveland area.

The operation's focus was to identify individuals seeking to engage in sex acts with minors and to recover human trafficking victims. As a result, authorities arrested three people—James Bedford from Clearwater, Florida, Pedro Garcia from Cleveland, Tennessee and Muhammad Ozair Khan from Chattanooga, Tennessee.
