NORMAN — T-Ron Richardson, a three-star defensive line recruit in the class of 2026, announced his commitment to Oklahoma on Tuesday.

A 6-foot-2, 295-pound prospect out of Hopewell High School in Hopewell, Virginia, Richardson chose the Sooners over Penn State and Virginia Tech, among others.

Richardson is ranked the No. 13 class of 2026 player in Virginia by the 247Sports Composite ratings. He is nationally ranked as the No. 51 defensive lineman No. 433 overall player in the 2026 recruiting cycle.

In his junior season of 2024, Richardson recorded 52 tackles, 19 tackles for loss and one sack. He is also a track and field standout in the shot put and the 110-meter hurdles.
