While the pair announced their engagement Aug. 26, the Kansas City Chief tight end actually got down on one knee two weeks ago, according to his father Ed Kelce , who shared all the details behind Travis’ proposal to the “Love Story” singer .

"Travis actually did the proposal maybe two weeks — not quite two weeks ago,” Ed told ABC News 5 Cleveland , joking that Swift “was getting maybe a little antsy.”
