Dearborn schools chief picked to be Michigan’s state superintendent

LANSING, MI – A long-time administrator for a major Metro Detroit school district has been tapped to be Michigan’s next school superintendent.

Glenn Maleyko, who’s been superintendent with Dearborn Public Schools since 2015, was selected by the State School Board to replace outgoing Superintendent Michael Rice during a special meeting Tuesday, Aug. 26.
