The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose 1.1 cents Tuesday to $4.59, its highest amount since June 28.
The average price has risen seven consecutive days, increasing 11.4 cents, including 1 cent Monday, according to figures from the AAA and the Oil Price Information Service. It is 12.4 cents more than one month ago and 2.5 cents more than one year ago, but has dropped $1.903 since rising to a record $6.493 on Oct. 5, 2022.
The Orange County average price rose six-tenths of a cent to $4.558, its highest amount since June 24. It has risen six consecutive days, increasing 11.5 cents, including eight-tenths of a cent Monday.
