BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - Two people are facing charges following an investigation regarding their alleged involvement in gang activity and narcotics trafficking, police said.
According to the Baton Rouge Police Department, Dequanta Moore and Jeremy Jones have been arrested.
The investigation into the two suspects began in June, police said. They added that search warrants were executed on Tuesday, August 26, and investigators discovered a Glock 19x, a black and purple Glock 45 Gen 9mm with an extended magazine, 1.67 pounds of marijuana, and $2,549.
According to police, investigators also learned that Jones and Moore had possible ties to a Baton Rouge street gang known as Top Snatcher Klan.
Moore is charged with possession with the intent to distribute a Schedule I controlled substance
