(WJET/WFXP)-- The Keystone Safari in Grove City is celebrating a new arrival to their animal family, a healthy newborn giraffe, and they're asking the public for their opinion on what her name should be.
Already standing at almost six feet tall and weighing 154 pounds, the healthy new giraffe calf was born on Friday, August 22, and is the fourth giraffe sibling of their giraffe family at the Grove City facility.
The new calf joins their siblings, Calvin (2017), Timber (2021), and Keyari (2023) at the safari's giraffe exhibit alongside their parents Levi and Blue Jeans, though safari officials are asking anyone hoping to visit them at the giraffe barn to speak softly.
