DULUTH, Minn. (Northern News Now) - Minnesota-raised artist, Josh Madson, is hoping to bring his unique art project to Duluth.

He is on a mission to unite communities through art by featuring professional portraits of members of the community in one big collage typically displayed on the side of a building or space.

Madson was born in Fargo and raised in Moorhead. He said seeing political and social divisiveness during the pandemic inspired him to bring unity and positivity to the world through art.

“I really wanted to see people come together in a way that’s harmonious and peaceful, in a way that really shines a light on our similarity’s as human beings,” said Madson.

In Mankato, Madson photographed 850 people in just three days and created a three dimensional collage at a coffee shop
