MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. (Northern News Now) - The Minnesota Vikings are finalizing a trade that would bring Minnesota native Adam Thielen back home, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter Wednesday morning.

Schefter shared the update on X.

Thielen, a wide receiver who played college football in Mankato and originally made the Vikings team as an undrafted free agent, played for Minnesota from 2013 to 2022 when he was traded to the Carolina Panthers.

According to Schefter, the Vikings would get Thielen, a conditional 2026 seventh-round pick, and a 2027 fifth-round pick.

The Carolina Panthers get a 2026 fifth-round pick and a 2027 fourth-round pick.
