Lil Nas X has broken his silence on getting arrested in Los Angeles after roaming the streets naked.
The rapper spoke out for the first time since his hospitalisation and later arrest last week, calling the experience "terrifying".
"Your girl is gonna be ok, y'all. OK?" he said. "S**t's gonna be all right."
Lil Nas, 26, shared he had found the entire ordeal frightening.
"That was f**king terrifying. That was terrifying!" he said. "That was a terrifying last four days, but your girl is gonna be all right."
Lil Nas, whose legal name is Montero Lamar Hill, was found wandering on Ventura Boulevard in Los Angeles at approximately 4 am last Thursday wearing only underpants and cowboy boots. He was later seen completely naked.
The incident made global headlines after a passerby shared video footage of the rapper, seemingly disorientated and weaving through traffic on foot while wielding a traffic cone.
When police arrived, Hill allegedly resisted being taken in, with the rapper now facing three felony counts of battery with injury to a police officer and one felony count of resisting arrest.
"Assuming the allegations here are true, this is an absolute aberration in this person's life," Hill's lawyer Christy O'Connor said in court, per NBC. "Nothing like this has ever happened to him."
On Monday, he faced a judge and pleaded not guilty. If convicted, the Old Town Road hitmaker could face up to five years in prison.
