Lana Del Rey has revealed that she has "absolutely" no plans to write an autobiography.
While many celebrities eventually write an autobiography detailing their journey to fame, the Summertime Sadness hitmaker has dismissed the idea.
During a new interview with W Magazine, Lana was asked if she was planning to share her life story in book form.
"Absolutely not," she replied. "There have been too many personal things that I can't talk about."
Reflecting on how she is perceived, the 40-year-old added, "Sometimes I think it's a 50-50 split between people hating me and people respecting my work. I've spent a lot of time thinking about that, but, to be honest, thinking too much about that is a lose-lose situation."
Lana, who married tour boat captain Jeremy Dufrene last year, explained that she has since shifted her focus to the brighter side of life.
"Now I try to be positive: I had a dream of a giant family and a happy life," the singer shared. "I had to quiet the noise to find love. And I did."
Although Lana may never write her memoirs, she revealed that she would like to explore another creative path: acting.
"Yes, I'd love to be in a film," she said. "When recording, I'm a one-off taker on a song. But with my videos, I love to do a million takes."
The star then shared that she is a fan of director Quentin Tarantino, telling the publication, "He and David Lynch have been the biggest influences on my work."
However, Lana confessed that most of her viewing habits lie elsewhere.
"My favourites are shows on the Hallmark Channel," the singer admitted. "Hallmark movies are great. Going into 2018 and 2019, it was a bad time and I had Hallmark running on the TV 24 hours a day."
