DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - Our fall preview continues, but we'll warm up a little more today and tomorrow.

Morning lows today, like yesterday, were in the 40s and 50s. Also, like yesterday, Springfield established another record low for the date. Tuesday morning, it was 44° there!

After another crisp, cool start to the day, we'll warm a few degrees to around 80° today and a few more degrees to 84° Thursday.

A few sprinkles can't be ruled out across the far north this evening and early tonight and spotty showers are possible Thursday.

As we head into the Labor Day weekend, dry conditions are expected with daytime highs in the upper-70s to low-80s and overnight lows in the 50s.
