DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - A boil water order for parts of Pana was lifted early Wednesday morning.

Monday, the city posted about a boil order for parts of the northeast area of the city. The order impacted some residents along North Hickory, East Washington, Lincoln, and Springfield Avenue.

The boil order was put in place due to a water main break.

The order was lifted around 5:45 a.m. Wednesday, according to the city's Facebook page.

Pana is in far southeastern Christian County and has a population of approximately 5,000 people.
