Weather maps reveal two enormous rainstorms that are about to hit the entire country.

After a Bank Holiday weekend of glorious weather , things are about to change. GFS weather model maps show a double whammy barrelling straight for the British Isles, with rain dumped all across Ireland and the UK.

The initial storm is forecast to arrive on August 30. At 6am, charts indicate torrential downpours soaking Hampshire, Somerset, Herefordshire and southern Wales with a staggering 10mm of rainfall per hour.

By 9am the band of rain will extend from Cumbria to Kent with Manchester, Birmingham, London and numerous counties being anticipated to see 5mm per hour.
