BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ( WBRC ) - Good morning!

It feels FANTASTIC this morning! Temperatures range from the lower 50s to the lower 60s, the further south you live. It is such a nice treat and a sneak peek at the fall weather that is to come! Fall officially begins in a short 26 days!

THE NEXT 24 HOURS: Expect a dry day with a few clouds later this afternoon. Temperatures will hold in the low 80s. Overnight, because clouds will stay put, we will not be as cool as we are this morning. Many of you will be in the mid-60s, with a few in the upper 50s in northeast Alabama.

THE NEXT BIG THING: Looking ahead, a passing disturbance will increase clouds through the day on Thursday, with a chance for some showers or even a storm by Thursday evening.
