The Wood River High School cross country team will open its season at the Jerome Invite on Thursday. Wood River is scheduled to compete in eight events throughout the season, with the Wood River Invite scheduled for Sept. 24. The team will also host the 5A District IV track meet on Oct. 22. The Sun Valley Community School Cutthroats cross-country team will open its season on Saturday at the Jimmy Driscoll Invite in Boise.
