Keegan Bradley made the decision not to play 'a while ago'

Keegan Bradley did not select himself as a captain's pick, a choice he said wasn't made recently.

"The decision was made a while ago that I wasn't playing," Bradley said. "The last 48 hours, we had the team set. We weren't scrambling at all. This was a really tough decision. I will say, there was a point where I was playing, a while ago. All these guys stepped up in a major way and played their way on to this team."

Sam Burns is the sixth and final captain's pick

Sam Burns gets the nod as the last captain's pick, meaning Keegan Bradley will not be a playing captain. This will be Burns' second Ryder Cup team. He didn't win on the PGA Tour this year but racked up six top-10s and a runner-up finish.

Cameron Young picked as fourth captain's selection

The year 2025 is a year of firsts for Cameron Young. He broke through with his first victory at the Wyndham Championship earlier this month and will now play on his first Ryder Cup team. Young is a New York native and won the New York State Open at Bethpage Black as an amateur.

Ben Griffin gets nod as third captain's pick for the Ryder Cup

Ben Griffin will make his Ryder Cup debut at Bethpage Black. The 29-year-old from North Carolina burst onto the scene with two wins this season and finished No. 9 in the Ryder Cup team standings. He's currently ranked No. 17 in the world.

Collin Morikawa selected as second captain's pick

Collin Morikawa will represent the stars and stripes for a third time. He's ranked No. 8 in the world and is 4-3-1 all-time in the Ryder Cup.

Justin Thomas is the first captain's pick

World No. 5 Justin Thomas gets the first nod from Keegan Bradley. This will be Thomas' fourth appearance on the U.S. Ryder Cup team. He's 7-4-2 all-time.
