A 34-year-old man was discovered fatally wounded overnight inside of a residence on the West Side in the Austin neighborhood, Chicago police said.
Shortly before 2 a.m., officers responded to a call of a person shot in the 100 block of North Mason Avenue and discovered an unresponsive man with multiple gunshot wounds to the body, police said.
The man was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
