HARRISBURG — Pennsylvania Attorney General Dave Sunday continues to call on big tech companies to make the online experience safer, announcing separate collaborative demands this week with other attorneys general to protect children from the predatory behaviors of artificial intelligence chatbots and also prevent the spread of revenge porn.
The letters follow Sunday’s prior support to maintain states’ regulatory control of AI, engagement in a lawsuit against 23andMe to protect consumer data, support for a successful ban on deepfake digital forgeries in Pennsylvania, and his joining a lawsuit against Google that accuses it of operating as a search engine monopoly.
