The availability of Fox content on YouTube TV remains up in the air.

On Monday, Aug. 25, Google , YouTube TV's parent company, announced that its contract with Fox expires on Wednesday, Aug. 27. If the two companies cannot create a new agreement by 5 p.m. ET on Wednesday, Fox content could be unavailable on YouTube TV, the platform said.

Federal Communications Commission Chair Brendan Carr said in an X post Aug. 26 that Fox's removal from YouTube TV would be "terrible."

"Millions of Americans are relying on YouTube to resolve this dispute so they can keep watching the news and sports they want – including this week’s Big Game: Texas (at) Ohio State," Carr said in his post . "Get a deal done, Google!"
