Penn State’s football season begins this weekend, and thousands of commuters are expected to make their way to Beaver Stadium to catch the action.
The route will see plenty of traffic over Labor Day weekend, with many arriving as early as Thursday in order to tailgate and celebrate leading into Saturday’s opener against the University of Nevada.
So if you’re headed to Centre County, it behooves you to be aware of some construction projects that will be underway along the route.
According to a representative for the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, three ongoing projects can be found between our area and State College.
