Job fair to be held in Liberty Co. for those impacted by International Paper closure

LIBERTY COUNTY, Ga. (WTOC) - The Liberty County Development Authority will be hosting a job fair in September.

The job fair is designed to support those impacted by the recent closure of International Paper. However, all job seekers are welcome.

Job seekers will be able to meet with employers and participate in on-site interviews. There will also be resume-writing support and job search resources.

The event will be on Wednesday, September 10 from 4 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Riceboro Youth Center.

The job fair is in partnership with DS Smith/International Paper, the City of Riceboro, Liberty County, Liberty County Recreation Department, Liberty County Chamber, RISE (Regional Industry Support Enterprise), Savannah Technical College, and WorkSource Coastal Georgia.
