Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre says he will use the looming return of Parliament to push the Carney government into getting rid of what he’s calling the “carbon tax 2.0,” the clean fuel regulations that currently adds 8.77 cents per litre to the price of gas in New Brunswick.

It’s the added cost that Susan Holt promised during last fall’s provincial election to make refiners pay, instead of consumers, but has since indefinitely paused that commitment.
