A foundational member of Morristown’s industrial base is expanding in a move that will mean a $10 million investment and nearly 50 new jobs, according to an announcement released Wednesday morning.
Tennessee Gov. Bill Lee, Department of Economic and Community Development Commissioner Stuart C. McWhorter and MAHLE GmbH officials made the announcement in a joint statement.
“Tennessee is leading the nation in attracting leading global brands like MAHLE thanks to our pro-business climate and highly skilled workforce. These nearly 50 new jobs will create greater opportunity for families in Hamblen County, and I’m grateful to MAHLE for its continued investment in our state,” said Lee.
