LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - A Lincoln woman was arrested on Tuesday after her employer accused her of stealing from a tire shop.

The owner of Walker Tire near 56th Street and Arbor Road told police he had discovered a discrepancy in inventory.

Based on camera footage from the business, it was determined an employee, 28-year-old Brooklynn Proplesch, had been stealing tires and selling them, according to Lincoln Police.

Proplesch was allegedly seen on video taking 13 Bridgestone tires over the course of four days, for a total estimated loss of almost $7,700.

Police arrived to talk with the reporting parties around 2:15 p.m. During the investigation, police said Proplesch left the business, got into her car and drove off.
