KEARNEY, Neb. (KSNB) - Police Tuesday arrested a Kearney man accused of five felonies including strangling an 11-year-old child.
Kearney Police said 30-year-Raymond Howell was arrested at 8:45 a.m. at a mobile home park on the east end of town.
Court records indicate Howell is charged with strangulation, two counts of felony child abuse, terroristic threats and cruelty to animals.
The charging documents indicate that Howell is accused of strangling a child in April 2024. The child was 11-years-old at the time.
The other offenses occurred between May 2023 and May 2024. Documents detailing the specific nature of the alleged crimes were sealed by the court.
