LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Lincoln Fire and Rescue was called out to investigate a suspicious article in a southeast Lincoln neighborhood.

Crews were called to an area near 46th Street and Normal Boulevard around 7 a.m. on Wednesday. LFR spokesperson MJ Lierman says the article was found by a homeowner in the area.

The suspicious device in the back of a pickup truck. The device was x-rayed and determined “not to be hazardous” and the scene was cleared by LFR at around 9:40 a.m. Wednesday morning.
