LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – LFR is investigating a “suspicious article” in a southeast Lincoln neighborhood on Wednesday.
Lincoln Fire & Rescue spokeswoman MJ Lierman said a homeowner near 46th Street and Normal Boulevard found the article.
A hazardous device technician with LFR is at the scene, according to Lierman.
Streets in the area are blocked off as the investigation continues.
A Channel 8 reporter at the scene said the Lincoln Police Department and Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office are also responding to the call.
