Former cricket legend and television presenter Andrew "Freddie" Flintoff has revealed he "didn't know if I had it in me to carry on" following his horrific crash at the Top Gear test track.
The 47 year old made the candid admission during the third series of his Freddie Flintoff's Field Of Dreams programme, which carries the subtitle Ultimate Test, and follows the former England captain as he attempts to create new cricket teams from youngsters who have minimal experience of the sport.
During the opening episode, Flintoff works to assemble his inaugural girls' team in Blackpool, when one of the teenagers he approaches to join asks him: "How hard was it to leave your house again?" following the accident.
