A new Birmingham indoor market is set to open in Birmingham this coming weekend.

The Goths Playground will launch at Digbeth's Zellig building on Saturday, August 30 and will feature a popular vendor beloved in the old Oasis Market.

Dolly Rockers Piercing, the body modification specialists that operated out of the Priory Square alternative market, will be among the very first traders at the new venue.

Created specifically for Birmingham's goth and alternative community, The Goths Playground is a 1,100sq ft space from which sellers can trade in items tailored for the scene.

The Goths Playground has hosted pop-up markets regularly in the city since 2023, with monthly events at The Flapper drawing customers looking for jewellery, art, clothing and more.
