ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. – A Berkeley man says he and another man traveled to Chesterfield in June 2024 to steal cars.

According to the Chesterfield Police Department’s probable cause statement, Terrell A. Barringer (age not released) and a co-conspirator stole a Ford Escape, an Infiniti QX60, a Ford F-150, and a BMW X5. The Escape, Infiniti, and F-150 were stolen on June 25 between midnight and 4:30 a.m. The X5 was taken on June 12 between 9:30 p.m. and 4:22 a.m.

In addition, police said Barringer and his partner broke into a 2018 Audi Q5 in the early morning hours of June 14 and stole some cash.

Police eventually questioned Barringer, who they say admitted to the thefts.

The St. Louis County Prosecting Attorney’s Office charged Barringer with four counts of stealing a motor vehicle and
