The 2025 fall high school sports season in North Carolina is in full swing as football joined the party on Aug. 22 to bring fans even more gameday action.

With plenty of big performances across the area last week, fans now have the opportunity to voice their opinion and vote for their favorite in the StarNews Athlete of the Week Poll.
