LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - The Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE), together with local leaders, held a roundtable discussion focused on improving water infrastructure in Lansing.
A $32 million investment in the city’s drinking water system is set to provide families and businesses with safe, reliable water for decades to come.
As part of the project, the Lansing Board of Water and Light is constructing a new water tower, drilling additional wells, and replacing miles of aging water mains.
These critical upgrades will help reduce long-term costs, lower the risk of boil water advisories, and enhance service for more than 200,000 customers throughout the region.
