A boutique-style hotel, honoring former Greenville Mayor Max Heller, has been proposed for downtown Greenville.

If approved, the new hospitality site, located at Main Street and McBee Avenue, would feature a 145- to 149-room hotel, along with a 4,000-square-foot prominent restaurant brand, and operate within the Hilton Tapestry Collection of specialty hotels, according to Windsor Aughtry Company, the developer of the proposed project.
