SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) -- A Syracuse federal court sentenced a former border patrol agent to a year in prison on August 27, 2025, for forcing women to show their breasts to him via webcam during immigration proceedings.
53-year-old Shane Millan of Jefferson County pled guilty in March to violating five women's right to be free from unreasonable search. He admitted to commanding four women to show their bare chests and one woman to show her chest with a bra on during their virtual immigration proceedings.
Millan admitted he told the women that his commands were necessary, but he knew his actual intention was for his own gratification.
