Police have asked people to avoid the area of the Clifton South tram stop while officers investigate the scene

A pedestrian has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after a collision at a Nottingham tram stop. Police , fire and ambulance services were called to the Clifton South NET stop in Nottingham Road at 4.19pm on Wednesday (August 27) after a collision involving a car and pedestrian.

One person has now been taken to hospital and Nottinghamshire Police has asked people to avoid the area while they investigate the scene. Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service said three engines from West Bridgford and Highfields were in attendance at the road traffic collision.
