MINNEAPOLIS — The person who opened fire on a Catholic school Wednesday morning in Minneapolis has been identified, according to law enforcement sources.
According to KARE 11 investigative reporter A.J. Lagoe, the shooter was 23-year-old Robin, formerly Robert, Westman. Law enforcement sources said Westman grew up in Richfield and that her mother was an employee at Annunciation School.
Court documents show that when she was 17, Westman applied in Dakota County to change her birth name from Robert to Robin. That request was granted in January of 2020.
This is a developing story.
