A New Hampshire man has been sentenced to 18 months in jail for committing a rash of commercial break-ins in downtown Boston, authorities said, and he’ll have to stay out of the city for three years once he’s released.
Timothy Dearborn, 41, was sentenced last week after pleading guilty to theft-related charges tied to a series of break-ins he committed between October and May, according to Suffolk District Attorney Kevin R. Hayden ’s office.
Dearborn’s lawyer, Jerry R. Dunham III, said in a statement that his client accepts responsibility for his crimes and looks forward to “continued future growth as he reintegrates into society after serving his sentence.”
