EAST LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - Michigan State’s men’s basketball team will host the University of Arkansas in a non-conference game at the Breslin Center on Saturday, Nov. 8.
The game will be part of a two-year, home-and-home series with the Razorbacks. The Spartans will play in Fayetteville, Ark., next season.
Michigan State and Arkansas have played twice previously, with the Spartans winning both games on neutral floors.
The matchup in November will be the first on a home floor.
Michigan State beat Arkansas, 75-72, on Nov. 28, 1995 in the fourth game of Tom Izzo’s first season as head coach of the Spartans at the Great Eight, held in Auburn Hills, Mich.
The first meeting between the teams was an 86-71 MSU win in the championship game of the Maui Invitational.
