Darren Moore admitted it took “10 out of 10 performances” from his entire side as League One Port Vale dumped Birmingham City out of the Carabao Cup with a 1-0 win at St Andrew’s.

The Valiants’ boss was delighted as Jaheim Headley’s header on the stroke of half-time earned the visitors a deserved victory over the previously unbeaten Blues.

The left-back nodded home Ryan Croasdale’s cross on the stroke of half-time after a period of sustained pressure on James Beadle’s goal reaped reward.
