ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A man in his late 40s has died after Rochester Police believe he was assaulted at the corner of Dewey Avenue and Driving Park Avenue Wednesday.

Rochester Police said the man was dropped off to St. Mary's Hospital between 3:30 p.m. and 4 p.m. with multiple stab wounds. He was treated at the hospital before he died from injuries sustained.

The altercation remains under investigation. No suspects are in custody at this time, according to Rochester Police.

The area of Dewey Avenue and Driving Park Avenue remains closed down as the investigation continues.
