ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A Rochester man has been arrested and charged with distributing and possessing child pornography, federal authorities said Wednesday.

32-year-old Zachary Guthrie faces a minimum of five years and a maximum of 20 years in prison, along with a $250,000 fine, according to a criminal complaint filed in U.S. District Court.

Investigators said they were able to trace multiple child pornography uploads to an IP address in Rochester linked to Guthrie. In May and July 2024, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children received tips from Instagram regarding the uploads.
