MAYVILLE, N.D. (KVRR) — Former Democratic State Rep. Olav “Ole” Aarsvold has died at the age of 84.

Aarsvold died Monday at Luther Memorial Home in Mayville.

He was born in Blanchard, North Dakota and served in the North Dakota House of Representatives from 1989 to 2008.

A visitation will be held on Friday from 5-6 p.m. at Baker Funeral Home Chapel in Mayville.

The funeral service will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Hillsboro.

Burial will be in the Mayville Cemetery in Mayville.
