BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) - Bowling Green Police released new details on a fatal hit-and-run that left one person dead.

On Sunday, Aug 24, Bowling Green Police responded to Brandywood Court for a hit and run investigation. The investigation reveals that Fred Hart, 58, and Mario Haris, 38, both of Bowling Green, had gotten into a verbal altercation.

He then got into a Chevrolet Suburban and backed out of the property on Brandywood Court onto Starlight Avenue, before stopping briefly and accelerating his vehicle forward. According to police, he struck Harris, pulling him under the SUV and dragging him into the yard.
