The killing of a 62-year-old woman in Manchester's North End left a neighborhood shaken, investigators frustrated and her family asking why.

2015
Aug. 30: Denise Robert, 62, was shot and killed while out for a walk on Ray Street in Manchester. It had been her custom to take Sunday walks in the neighborhood for the previous six years or so, her family said.
Robert grew up studying ballet and art before a career in advertising sales with the New Hampshire Union Leader.
She was the oldest of 12 children.
Aug. 31: More than 100 people attend a neighborhood meeting in Manchester looking for answers.
Sept. 4: Robert’s funeral was held at Ste. Marie Church.
Nov. 2: The FBI joined the investigation into Robert's killing.
