Lil Wayne paused his concert in NFL star Travis Kelce's home town to congratulate him over his recently announced engagement to Taylor Swift. The rapper was dressed in a cardigan at the concert in Kansas City - a garment favoured by Swift. He explained his outfit as he addressed to the crowd, saying, "I'm dressed in spirit. In the spirit of my man Travis and my girl, you already know Taylor. Traylor! That's what we call them. Congratulations." It comes after the Green Bay Packers fan accused the Kansas City Chiefs, who Travis plays for, of cheating in their victory over the Houston Texans in a playoff game back in January. "It's not even impressive when u cheat and then clearly try to cheat. Just win baby," he posted to X at the time. "I hate the cheating azz Chiefs." Kelce has previously brushed off his criticism, and this latest announcement seems to suggest there is no animosity remaining between him and the newly engaged couple. Kelce and his brother Jason discussed his remarks on an episode of their New Heights podcast at the time. Jason said, "The whole world was talking about something else during the game. Even Lil Wayne." His brother responded using the rapper's nickname, "Shout out to Tunechi, man."
