BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - LSU’s rising enrollment and acceptance rates, coupled with new construction, has led to less spots on campus, with the university letting students know last week there were no commuter parking passes left. Some students are left frustrated, having to navigate the changes.
“And now, I’m over here, I’ve got a ticket on my window. Ain’t that just great?” Jack Landry, a sophomore at LSU, said.
Landry has been parking in the lot across from Patrick F. Taylor Hall since the start of classes on Monday. When he got back to his car after class today, he was met with a small yellow slip tucked under his car’s windshield wiper, charging him $75 for a parking violation.
“No signs saying y’know, this is y’know, certain parking. All down this street I was, I even saw it had
