UPDATE: The shelter-in-place order has been lifted. However, people are asked to avoid the Dawns Edge and Creek Way to Oak Ridge in the Westwood Shores area.

Wallace confirmed that the gas is underground in a manhole where the three unconscious people were found.

"Unfortunately, this has turned into a recovery at this time. No names have been released, and we have not identified anyone yet officially," Wallace said.

Wallace said there is no threat to the public at this time, but they are asked to avoid the area as first responders are on the scene. Authorities are expected to give another update on Thursday.
