Fewer showers and storms are popping up across New Mexico Wednesday afternoon as drier air moves in from the west. The westerly winds are also steering storms to the west today. The showers and storms will quickly end after sunset tonight with drier conditions in place Thursday morning. Lower dew points will be moving in from the west overnight, bringing even fewer showers and storms Thursday afternoon. A few spotty showers are still likely though, especially in the mountains. The drier weather will also bring warmer temperatures Thursday.
